The Psychology of it All
Welcome to my new blog that explores the psychology behind some of life’s biggest challenges. If you’ve read the about me section of this site, you’ll likely have noticed that I have a multi-faceted practice, focusing on key areas such as anxiety, life transitions, identity, career and infertility. While these topics might all feel removed from one another as they cross a wide variety of issues, I find there to be significant overlap in these areas that have become my specialties.
How did I end up here? As a person who has experienced many big life transitions and I have a passion for helping people navigate the anxiety and shifts in identity that each new change brings. Relationships are at the heart of everything life throws at us, from trying to create new life to grieving the loss of a loved one, and the therapeutic relationship is a guide through all these challenges. Whether you struggle with your career, grief, moving or other large changes in life, therapy can be an important part of your ability to adapt, cope and heal. When it comes to the topic infertility, an area I will focus a lot on in this blog because it is highly specialized and incredibly clinical, it is all the more important for clients to have a therapist on their care team. More to come on this topic later.
My hope for this blog, in a nutshell, is to shed light on the psychology behind the difficult transitions and challenges we face in life, with a special interest in infertility, and to continue to support you in your journey, regardless of where you are on the path to wellness. Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!
